Equipment

  • A small saucepan
  • A ladle
  • Heat-safe mugs or glasses
  • A wooden spoon
  • Measuring cups
  • Garnish: cinnamon sticks (which are optional).
  • Extra: a tiny whisk in case you want to make it really smooth.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey cider vinegar or apple vinegar (unfiltered cider is best, fresh is perfection)
  • 2- 4 oz Fireball Cinnamon Whisky to your preference of warmth
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar not necessary but delicious
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 –2 whole cloves
  • 1 orange slice or some orange peels.
  • Topping whipped cream not essential but much advised
  • A pinch of nutmeg or allspice
  • Star anise or Apple slices to garnish.

Instructions

Step 1: Warm the Apple Cider

  • Add your apple cider to a saucepan and heat it over medium. Stir in cinnamon stick, cloves, orange, and a sprinkle of nutmeg. Get it warm,--do not boil it, but get it steaming.

Step 2: Add Sweetness (Optional)

  • Add a small amount of brown sugar in case you are fond of a rich, caramel-like taste.

Step 3: Add Fireball

  • Switch the heat off, pour in the Fireball Cinnamon Whisky. Stir gently to combine.

Step 4: Serve

  • Ladle into mugs while warm. Serve with whipped cream, or with slices of apples.

Step 5: Sip & Melt Into a Cozy Mood

  • Find a cozy place to sit, hold the warm mug in your hands, and savor the spicy-sweet harmony.
