Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk adjust for consistency
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional but recommended

Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, add mayonnaise and sour cream.
  • Whisk until smooth and fully combined.
  • Slowly pour in buttermilk while whisking to avoid lumps.
  • Add parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix well until the herbs are evenly distributed.
  • Add lemon juice if using for a slightly brighter flavor.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30–60 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Always whisk until completely smooth
  • Add buttermilk slowly to control thickness
  • Taste after chilling, not just immediately
  • Use fresh spices if possible
