Base:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
Liquid:
- 1 cup whole milk 2% also works
Cheese:
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese.
- 1/2 cup mozzarella shredded (stretch and smooth melt)
- 2 tbsp cream cheese secret ingredient!
Seasonings:
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard adds tang, optional but recommended
- Pinch of paprika
- Optional: Worcestershire to add flavor.
Step 3: Add the Milk Slowly
Step 4: Stir Until Thickened
Step 6: Season the Dip
Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, paprika, and Worcestershire (optional). Taste and adjust!
Step 7: Serve Warm
