Equipment

Ingredients
  

For the BBQ chicken:

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the coleslaw:

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage mix
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey or sugar
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

For assembling:

  • 4 large soft tortillas or wraps
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion optional
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish optional

Instructions
 

Warm the chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add shredded chicken, barbecue sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for 4–5 minutes until warm and coated in glossy sauce.

Make the coleslaw

  • In a medium bowl, combine shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, yogurt, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and evenly coated. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Warm the tortillas

  • Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for about 20 seconds per side or until soft and flexible. Keep them covered with a towel to stay warm.

Assemble the wraps

  • Place a portion of BBQ chicken in the center of each tortilla. Add a generous spoonful of coleslaw and optional red onion or herbs.

Fold and serve

  • Fold the sides inward, roll tightly, and serve immediately while warm and fresh.
