Equipment

  • A glittering glass (transparent is the best).
  • A spoon (for stirring)
  • Measuring spoons
  • Ice cube tray
  • Citrus knife (not required to garnish)
  • Straw (optional but fun)
  • Optional Equipment:
  • Pitcher (to prepare a larger batch)
  • Ice cubes (to cool the cocktail)
  • Glasses are used to present at parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda
  • 2 tbsp blue raspberry syrup
  • ½ cup ice
  • Lemon slice optional
  • 1 –2 tsp lemon juice optional

Instructions

Fill Your Glass with Ice

  • The ice is used to keep the beverage cool and fresh. The amount of ice should be sufficient to ensure the beverage is flattened, and hence, at least half a glass is a perfect choice.

Pour in the Lemonade

  • The lemonade is your base. The sweetness of the syrup is pierced by a bright citrus base.

Add the Blue Raspberry Syrup

  • And this is where the magic will occur. The instant the syrup is poured on the lemonade, the color changes to that identified as glowing blue. Gently stir until it becomes uniform.

Top Off with Lemon-Lime Soda

  • Add the soda gradually to retain the bubbles. This maintains the beverage to be light and refreshing.

Flavour to Your Taste

  • This beverage is highly personalized:
  • Too sweet? Add more lemonade.
  • Not sweet enough? Add one additional teaspoon of syrup.
  • Want more fizz? Add extra soda.
  • Want it tangier? Add lemon juice.

Add Garnishes

  • There are lemon slices, blueberries, raspberries, and even a striped straw. This little touch makes the drink even more pleasant.
