Equipment

  • Mixing bowl (medium to large)
  • Silicone spatula or wooden spoon.
  • Measuring cups and spoons.
  • Food processor (optional but helpful)
  • Baking tray or plate
  • Parchment paper
  • Refrigerator-safe container

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/3 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 –3 tablespoons milk as needed
  • Pinch of salt

Optional filling (for gooey center):

  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Base

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir gently so everything is evenly distributed.

Step 2: Add the Wet Ingredients

  • Add peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix everything together until it starts forming a thick dough. If the mixture feels too dry, add milk one tablespoon at a time.

Step 3: Fold in Chocolate Chips

  • Gently mix in the chocolate chips. At this stage, you’ll already notice that rich chocolate aroma that makes this Cadbury Egg Protein Balls Recipe so irresistible.

Step 4: Prepare Optional Filling

  • If you’re adding a creamy center, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar in a small bowl until smooth.

Step 5: Shape the Balls

  • Take about one tablespoon of dough, flatten it slightly, add a small amount of filling in the center, then roll it into a ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

Step 6: Chill

  • Place the protein balls on a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Step 7: Serve and Enjoy

  • Once chilled, they’re ready to eat! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
