Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional:

  • 1 small clove fresh garlic very finely minced (for extra punch)

Instructions
 

Step 1: Mix the Base

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth and creamy.

Step 2: Thin It Out

  • Slowly whisk in buttermilk until the dressing reaches your preferred consistency. Cheesecake Factory ranch is creamy but pourable.

Step 3: Add Flavor

  • Whisk in lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Step 4: Add Fresh Herbs

  • Stir in chopped parsley and dill. If using fresh garlic, add it now.

Step 5: Chill

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This step matters. The flavors need time to settle and blend.
  • Give it a final stir before serving.
