Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk or hand mixer
  • Measuring cups and spoons.
  • 6-inch round baking pan or small ramekins
  • Parchment paper (optional)
  • Blender or food processor (for crust)
  • Spatula
  • Oven

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup rolled oats blended into flour
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter xylitol-free
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil melted
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup low-fat cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree unsweetened
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter xylitol-free
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional and only for healthy adult dogs

Optional Toppings:

  • Fresh blueberries
  • Small banana slices
  • A dollop of plain yogurt

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease your small baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2: Make the Crust

  • In a bowl, mix the blended oats, peanut butter, melted coconut oil, and applesauce. Stir until it forms a soft dough.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared pan. Make sure it is even and compact.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes until slightly firm. Remove and let cool.

Step 3: Prepare the Filling

  • In a large bowl, combine Greek yogurt, softened cream cheese, pumpkin puree, peanut butter, egg, and honey (if using).
  • Whisk until smooth and creamy. The mixture should be thick but pourable.

Step 4: Assemble

  • Pour the filling over the cooled crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Step 5: Bake

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes. The center should be set but still slightly soft. It will firm up as it cools.

Step 6: Cool and Chill

  • Let the cheesecake cool completely at room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Step 7: Decorate and Serve

  • Top with a few blueberries or banana slices if you like. Slice into small, dog-friendly portions.
  • Serve in moderation.
