- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Zest of 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/3 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
Optional additions:
- 1 small garlic clove minced
