Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or immersion blender (to very smooth egg mixture)
  • Silicone muffin mold or ordinary muffin tin
  • Nonstick spray
  • Baking sheet
  • Measuring cups
  • Optional: small skillet on which to saute fillings

Ingredients
  

For the Egg Mixture:

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

Cheese & Fillings (Dunkin Style):

Choose your version:

Bacon & Cheddar Version:

  • 1/2 cup finely grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup cooked bacon pieces

Veggie Version:

  • cup chopped spinach
  • ¼ cup sautéed peppers
  • ¼ cup shredded Monterey Jack

Instructions
 

Prep Your Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Generously spray your silicone mould or your muffin tin.

Blend the Egg Base

  • Whisk or blend together:
  • ✔ eggs
  • ✔ cream
  • ✔ salt, pepper
  • ✔ garlic & onion powder

Add Your Fillings

  • Spoonful of your desired fillings into each muffin well.
  • Then add a pinch of cheese to each.

Pour in the Eggs

  • Fill each well about ¾ full.

Set up a Water Bath (Recommended)

  • Place muffin pan on a baking sheet.
  • Pour hot water into the sheet.

Bake

  • Bake 18–22 minutes.
  • Edges should look set and centers slightly tender.

Cool Slightly & Remove

  • Rest for 5 minutes, then remove carefully.

Serve or Store

  • Fridge: up to 4 days
  • Freezer: 2–3 months
  • Reheat: microwave 20–25 seconds
