- 1 cup cooked chicken finely chopped or shredded
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 package puff pastry sheets thawed (about 2 sheets)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
- Fresh parsley finely chopped (optional, for garnish)
Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
In a medium saucepan, gently warm the Alfredo sauce over low heat. Add the butter, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and Italian seasoning. Stir until everything is well combined and smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Pour the warm Alfredo mixture over the chicken and stir until everything is evenly coated and creamy.
Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Cut each sheet into equal squares, about 3×3 inches. Place a spoonful of the chicken Alfredo filling in the center of each square.
Fold the corners up and gently pinch them together, forming a little bundle or puff. Don’t worry if they’re not perfect—rustic is charming here.
Place the puffs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops lightly with the beaten egg to help them turn golden and glossy in the oven.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the puffs are puffed up and beautifully golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
