Equipment

  • High-speed blender
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Measuring cups and spoons.
  • Tall serving glasses
  • Citrus juicer (optional)

Ingredients

  • 2 medium green apples cored and chopped
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cold milk dairy or almond milk
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 tablespoon honey adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Optional add-ins:

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Apples

  • Wash the green apples thoroughly. Core them and chop into small chunks. You can peel them if you prefer a milder flavor, but I personally love keeping the skin on for extra fiber and that beautiful light green color.

Step 2: Add Ingredients to Blender

  • Place the chopped apples into your blender. Add the banana, Greek yogurt, milk, spinach, honey, lemon juice, and ice cubes.

Step 3: Blend Until Smooth

  • Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds. Pause and scrape down the sides if needed. Continue blending until the texture is completely smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Taste and Adjust

  • Taste your smoothie. If it is too tart, add a little more honey. If it is too thick, add a splash of milk. Blend again briefly.

Step 5: Serve Immediately

  • Pour into tall glasses and serve right away. This smoothie tastes best when fresh and cold.
