- 3 cups fresh carrots peeled and sliced diagonally
- 3 cups fresh green beans trimmed
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional, for brightness
