- 4 lobster tails 5–6 oz each
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Optional serving additions:
- Lemon wedges
- Extra melted butter for dipping
Step 2: Prepare the lobster tails
Using kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top of the lobster shell lengthwise. Stop just before the tail fin.
Gently pull the lobster meat upward so it rests on top of the shell. This technique is called butterflying and helps the lobster cook evenly.
Step 3: Make the garlic butter
In a small bowl combine:
melted butter
minced garlic
lemon juice
lemon zest
parsley
salt
black pepper
Mix until well combined.
Step 4: Brush the lobster
