- 4 tilapia fillets about 4–5 oz each
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese freshly grated works best
- ½ cup breadcrumbs panko or regular
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Lemon wedges for serving
Step 2: Prepare the Crust
In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Pour in the melted butter and olive oil. Stir until everything looks like damp sand.
