For the Filling
- 1 lb thin-sliced beef ribeye or sirloin
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
For the Breadsticks
- 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup provolone cheese shredded or sliced
For Brushing
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning optional
Step 1: Cook the Filling
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers. Cook until soft and lightly caramelized.
Add the beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook quickly—thin beef doesn’t need long. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Step 3: Fill the Breadsticks
On each strip, layer mozzarella, beef mixture, and provolone. Don’t overfill—trust me.
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
Step 4: Bake
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and seasoning.
Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
