Cuisine American
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard for depth
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar to make it sweeter
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar to add tanginess
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp paprika
- Pinch cayenne pepper optional, to spice it up a bit
- To taste salt and black pepper.
Whisk together the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, and the Dijon mustard in a medium bowl.
Add the honey, vinegar, and apple cider. Repeat until mixed.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne (Optional). Whisk until silky.
Give it a taste. Want it sweeter? Add more honey. Tangier? Another splash of vinegar. Spicier? You know what to do--more cayenne.
Put the sauce in a jar or container and refrigerate at least 30 minutes. This enables the blending of the flavors to that ideal blend.
You can eat it as a dipping sauce with fries or drizzle it on your next sandwich or spread it on your next burger.
