Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt optional, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar or honey optional, balances acidity
  • Pinch of cayenne or chili flakes optional

Instructions
 

Step 1: Melt the Butter

  • Place butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Let it melt gently. Do not brown it.

Step 2: Add Flavor

  • Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, and lemon pepper seasoning. Whisk until smooth.

Step 3: Taste and Adjust

  • Taste the sauce. Add salt if needed. Add sugar if the lemon feels too sharp. Add heat if you like spice.

  • Pour the hot sauce over freshly cooked wings. Toss until fully coated. Serve immediately.
