- 1 ½ cups ketchup
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ¼ cup molasses
- 2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce.
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons salt-free butter.
- 1/4 water to alter consistency, as may be required
- Garnish with a splash of bourbon or espresso - optional extra depth!
