Equipment

  • Tall serving glasses
  • Measuring spoons
  • Small kitchen torch (for toasting marshmallows)
  • Long spoon or stirrer
  • Ice scoop
  • Citrus juicer (optional but helpful)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 2 cups chilled cola use your favorite brand
  • 1/3 cup coconut cream full-fat for best texture
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 4 –6 large marshmallows
  • Extra marshmallows for garnish optional
  • Whipped cream optional but lovely

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Glasses

  • Fill two tall glasses with ice. I like using large clear cubes because they melt slower and look beautiful.

Step 2: Add the Flavor Base

  • In each glass, pour 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup and 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice over the ice. The lime may seem surprising, but trust me — it makes everything pop.

Step 3: Pour the Cola

  • Slowly pour chilled cola over the ice until the glass is about three-quarters full. Pour gently to preserve the carbonation.

Step 4: Add the Coconut Cream

  • Gently spoon coconut cream over the top. It will swirl naturally through the cola, creating a creamy marbled look.

Step 5: Toast the Marshmallows

  • Place marshmallows on a heat-safe surface and carefully toast with a kitchen torch until golden brown and slightly charred. Rotate them for even color.
  • No torch? You can broil them in the oven for 1–2 minutes. Watch closely.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  • Place toasted marshmallows on top of each drink. Add whipped cream if desired. Serve immediately with a long straw.
