Step 1: Make the Dough
In a large bowl, mix warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit for 5–7 minutes until foamy.
Add oil and salt. Slowly mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
Knead for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Step 2: Prepare the Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and salt.
Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
This mild sauce is key to the Chuck E Cheese flavor.
Step 3: Shape the Pizza
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Punch down the dough and roll it out into a round shape. Place on a lightly greased pizza pan.
Press the edges slightly thicker to create that soft crust rim.
Step 5: Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and crust is lightly golden.
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
