Cocktail shaker (or a mason jar with a lid - none judged)
Shot glasses (they should be clear so that the colors can be seen)
One jigger or tablespoon of measurement.
Bar spoon or small whisk
Ice cubes
Optional: a little funnel in case you are stacking shots to create a rainbow effect.
- 1 oz RumChata
- 1/2 oz Blue Curacao
- 1/2 oz Loopy vodka or plain vodka in case you are unable to locate it
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- A splash of milk or half-and-half
- Crushed Fruit Loops cereal
- Whipped cream optional
Step 1: Rim your shot glasses
Prepare one plate with some honey or simple syrup and one plate with crushed Fruit Loops. Rinse the rim of each glass in the syrup, and roll in the cereal crumbs. It is colorful, crunchy, and predetermines the tone!
Step 2: Mix your liquids
Put ice, RumChata, Blue Curacao, vodka, Triple Sec, and your splash of milk in your cocktail shaker.
Step 5: Optional topping:
It is totally picture-perfect with a swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed cereal being added to the top.
