Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp coarse black pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika smoked is best
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Put all spices into a bowl.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour into a jar or container.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • To use: Rub seasoning on both sides of steak before cooking.

Notes

  • Coarse pepper: Adds crunch and strong flavor.
  • Smoked paprika: Gives steak a smoky taste.
  • Crush herbs: Release more flavor from dried thyme and rosemary.
  • Use enough salt: Salt makes the beef taste better.
  • Rest steak: Let it sit after cooking to keep juices inside.
